The Stories That Shakespeare Knew brought together professional and amateur actors, storytellers and musicians to explore the traditional tales referenced in Shakespeare's plays. The Stories That Shakespeare Knew was performed at mac, Birmingham in February 2012 and an extract was selected for performance at the RSC's Courtyard Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, as part of the RSC Open Stages.
